Neuseeländische Studie belegt: Silberne Wagen sind weniger oft in Unfälle verwickelt als Benizkutschen in anderen Farben:We found a significant reduction in the risk of serious injury in silver cars compared with white cars in both the univariate analysis (odds ratio = 0.5 (95% confidence interval 0.3 to 0.8)) and the multivariable analysis (adjusted odds ratio = 0.4 (0.2 to 0.9); table). There was a significant increased risk of a serious injury in brown vehicles after confounders had been adjusted for (odds ratio = 2.1 (1.1 to 4.2)) and the risks for black and green cars were also raised (adjusted odds ratio = 2.0 (1.0 to 4.2) and 1.8 (1.0 to 3.6) respectively). However, green and brown colour groups were heterogeneous in terms of shades of colours included. The risk of a serious injury in yellow, grey, red, and blue cars was not significantly different from that in white cars.
