SWISS INVESTMENT PROFESSIONALS AMONG THE BEST PAID IN THE WORLD, SAYS CFA INSTITUTE GLOBAL SURVEY

Swiss investment professionals’ annual pay packets are some 10 per cent bigger than those of their global peers, according to a survey released today by CFA Institute and Russell Reynolds Associates. The fourth annual CFA Institute compensation survey compared the total pay of CFA Institute members in 10 countries. It found that this year’s median total compensation for Swiss-based professionals is CHF 203,180, which includes a median base salary of CHF 146,250, a median cash bonus of CHF 40,000 and median non-cash compensation worth CHF 4,500. Swiss investment professionals out-earn the global median by 10 percent and, out of the 10 countries included in the report, are second only to their colleagues in the United Kingdom.
