Klingt doch gut: "Google lügt"?! Ist natürlich mal wieder massloss übertrieben. Darum geht's konkret: Hier und dort wurde Kritik laut an der Validität von Googles Zeitgeist. Die Methode, wie Google die Hitparade zusammenstellt, ist offenbar etwas zweifelhaft. Was mich zur Frage bringt: Wie vertrauenswürdig ist dann Google Trend? In der Türkei gab's eine ziemliche Aufregung, weil bei der <a href=www.google.com target=_blank>Suche nach "child porn" eben dort die ersten 5 Plätze von türkischen Städten belegt werden. Was heisst, dass von dort aus am häufigsten nach Kinderpornos gesucht wurde bei Google.
